That Burger Joint shares the building with Oberweis Dairy and Wood Grain Pizzeria, so you have a choice of LOTS of different foods. All can be ordered from one location, and you can sit inside any of the three sections or take your food to one of the outside table. Our original plan was to split a burger then finish the meal with an ice cream. But, we were visiting from out-of-town (6 hour drive) and we REALLY wanted to experience the ice cream. So, we ordered our That Cheeseburgers TO GO, and splurged on ice cream in a waffle bowl. We were too full that evening to eat the burgers in our hotel room, so we packed them in a cooler and drove them back to Ohio, where we shared them (after adding a local burger and fries to the mix, for a full meal for all involved). We weren't sure if we would like the TBJ sauce, so we had them put it "on the side". It was so good that we wanted more. A fun dining experience
Tasty Angus beef burgers with decent fries. Have had thier regular burger and the "steak" burger. Liked the steak better, but both were good. The family liked coming here because they can pick, burgers, pizza or just ice cream for their meal! Love being able to get ice cream after eating my meal!
This is a family favorite of ours. The burgers are always delicious. This location has two bonuses. (1) it has a fire stove pizza as well. This is my daughter’s favorite part because she gets the build-your-own pizza and then watches them put her creation in the oven. (2) this also has an Oberweis store. That means the fountain drink also has white and chocolate milk. This is just the best. A great burger and chocolate milk together
I didn't realize that there was one area to order for all three services. It is a really nice one stop shop with multiple options. My son was able to get a kid friendly meal while I enjoyed the chess tables. Even the option to have the fresh ice cream after made it special.
I have driven by this restaurant about 50 times and finally decided to stop in and try it. I want to post this so people know because my impression of this place was honestly confused, from the outside of the building, it looks like a strip mall with 3 separate businesses(Oberweis Dairy, Woodgrain Pizzeria and That Burger Joint), when it’s actually the whole building is all 3 concepts combined. The food is amazing! Ample seating, order to food was about 6 minutes. The food tasted great(I had the That Cheeseburger Double with everything on it and cheese fries. My wife had a single bacon cheeseburger with loaded fries and the kids had cheese pizzas). Everyone loved their food!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR: come try this place out. I will be a regular here!!!!!!!
OVER. THE. TOP. That burger didn’t just feed me—it changed me. I walked into this place hungry, and I left spiritually fulfilled. I don’t know what kind of sorcery they’re using in that kitchen, but that burger was so juicy it should’ve come with a life jacket. The bun was toasted to perfection—like it was gently kissed by the sun—and the cheese melted like it had found its soulmate. Don’t even get me started on the fries... crispy, golden, and somehow seasoned with what I can only describe as pixie dust and dreams. I took one bite and made eye contact with the stranger at the next table. We both nodded silently. We knew. Something magical had just happened. If you’re on a diet, just throw the whole thing away and come live your best life here. Zero regrets. Full belly. Happy soul. 10/10 would recommend—and I’d fight a bear for another one.
I had the margarita pizza and caprice salad. I also had one bite of my husband's burger and a french fry. Everything was delicious. The salad was probably my favorite and I'll certainly return for my own burger. We also went back in line to order ice cream. Oberweis is always delicious.
This has become one of our go to restaurants for kour kids. The food is always excellent, service is also always excellent. Your food arrives in a timely fashion and if things aren't to your liking, they fix it with no issues. Excellent place for a good burger, chicken sandwich, pizza, salad and ice cream. Lemonade is also really good
